Albania has tendered a concession for the construction of hydropower plants on the Shushica River, in Vlore, southern Albania, the economy, trade and energy ministry (www.mete.gov.al) said in a statement.
Advantage points in the tender have been awarded to domestic Denyl shpk, which has prepared technical and financial studies for the works.
Firms awarded bonus points before a tender in Albania usually win the project.
The deadline for bids is March 3.
