Massive growth in foreign investment in Albania

Albania is part of a much more attractive environment called South-Eastern Europe, where significant investments are being scheduled and pressure from large international companies is increasing.

There is a growing interest for the real estate market, which is the first and reliable sign of the coming investments, especially in the sectors of primary priority likely tourism, but also transport, etc.
This year the Economist Conferences is once again calling the annual "Business Roundtable with the Government of Albania", where representatives from key economic players and business operators are participating.
The financial market has been vividly enriched with new European companies who took over Albanian pioneers of banking and insurance services, promising at the same time a much reliable context for the support in Albania of the newly interested companies worldwide.

Under this optics I guess Moody’s just met a market demand for a clearer economic vision on an emerging market likely Albania.
While considering the report of Moody's truthfully, I believe it is good news, for it shed light on a country which until few years ago was not in the map of the international business.

Of course, this is not a matter of expectations, but of political stability, market maturity and product of a long run vision of the administration to generate balanced regional development, a more focused policy to enhance national production - especially of raw materials and to substitute imports speedily, to better orient the labour market towards a new qualified performance maintaining the attractiveness of low labour costs, as well as by attracting foreign direct investments better than till now.
