Albanian Times: "Men charged over fake passports"

Five men have been charged with offences in relation to manufacturing counterfeit passports in north London.

Officers recovered 1,800 alleged counterfeit passports, valued at £1m, during a raid at a two-bedroom flat in Poplar Grove, Barnet.

A police spokesman said the accused men were from Albania, Bulgaria and Kosovo. They are due to appear at Brent Magistrates Court on Friday.

Kosovan, Dennis Cenolli, 25, of Station Road, New Barnet, was among those held.

Albanian labourer, Altin Ibrahimi, 30, was also detained.

The accused Bulgarians are, self-employed Krum Angelov Poibrenski, 31, Kiril Velvev, 29 and Stoyan Minchev, 28, both unemployed of Ballards Lane, Finchley, north London.
