BALANCE OF ELECTRIC 2-nd HALF-YEAR 2006
The total sources sources of electric power, during the year 2006, increased by 1.3 percent compared with year 2005. The quantity of total sources attained to 6,793 GWh.
The domestic generation of electric power is increased by 1.8 percent, as a result of generation growth by hydro plants, thermo plants and concession or private plants.
The electric power generated by thermo plants is increased by 20.3 percent compared with year 2005 while generation by hydro plants increased by 1.2 percent. Electric production of hydro plants, during the year 2006, made up 97.2 percent of the total domestic production. Concession and private plants had a considerable growth by 45.6 percent compared with year 2005.
The quantity of domestic generation during year 2006 is 5,551 GWh and it covers 81.7 percent of the total sources of energy.
PRODUCTION AND SOURCES OF ELECTRIC POWER
Import (including exchanges) of electric power during year 2006 is 1,242 GWh. Import (including exchanges) made up 18.3 percent of total sources. The imported quantity (excluding exchanges) rose up by 79.8 percent compared with year 2005.
Export (including exchanges) of electric power in year 2006 is decreased by 12.6 percent, compared with year 2005. The outflow quantity of electric power is 637 GWh. It covers 9.4 percent of the total quantity used.
IMPORT AND EXPORT INCLUDING EXCHANGES, OF ELECTRIC POWER
Total losses in network are rose by 3.2 percent compared with year 2005. The quantity of total losses is 2,481 GWh. They compose 36.5 percent of the available quantity for use. Losses in distribution have been increased by 5.5 percent. In year 2006, losses in distribution consist in 91.1 percent of the lost quantity in network. During the year 2005 they made up 89.0 percent of total losses.
CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRIC POWER BY USERS
Consumption by users have been increased by 2.8 percent in year 2006 compared with year 2005. Its quantity attained to 3,573 GWh and made up 52.6 percent of the total electric power available for use.
Residential sector consume have been increased by 5.8 percent compared with year 2005. The energy consumed from this sector composes 59.5 percent of the consumed quantity by total users. The quantity available for the other sectors is decreased with 1.2 percent compared with year 2005.
