Albania. Albania’s Prime Minister Sali Berisha presenting the investment project of EUR 250 mln on the cement factory, responded to the interest of Spanish media about the acceleration of Albania's economic development rates.
Prime Minister Berisha said that this year a real fiscal revolution is finalized.
In January 2008, Albania will be the country with the lowest fiscal burden in Europe, he said, adding that some indications are extremely hopeful.
The "Made in Albania" goods export, excluding the export of the goods imported and processed in Albania, has increased by 35% this year compared to one year ago, PM said.
Foreign investments in 2006 have been three times higher than the average of the past ten years, he said. (Albania Post)
