PM Approves of Electricity Price Rise
TIRANA – Prime Minister Sali Berisha said during a visit to Shkodra on Thursday the electricity price would be raised, but added that the government would take the necessary measures so that it would not affect the household consumers in need and the small business.
Berisha said there would be no drastic hike in the price of electricity, but this would be readjusted according to the customer categories, declaring that he agreed that the customers consuming more than 400 KWh a month pay more on every KWh spent above this level.
