A Successful Crans Montana Forum in Albania
Last month, Albania hosted the second annual Crans Montana Forum in Tirana. The opening session, held on May 10th, was chaired, among others, by Mr. Sali Berish, Prime Minister of Albania, and Mr. Jean-Paul Carteron, Chairman and Founder of the Crans Montana Forum.
The event gave the unique opportunity to international businesses to meet government officials from Albania and other South-Eastern European nations as well as key decision makers from the region. The Forum presented, in an informal and interactive setting, trade and investment opportunities in Albania.
Albania welcomed dignitaries from other regional countries, representatives from international organizations, and international companies such as: EADS, Siemens, ATR, Magyar Telekom, France Telecom, Vodafone, EVN, Terna, Iride Acqua Gas Group, AMBO Company, Visa, Raiffaisen Bank, National Bank of Greece, Intesa San Paolo, Wolf Theiss, Nesle, Coca-Cola, and Cotecna. By attending the Forum, these companies showed their recognition for steps taken by Mr. Sali Berisha’s Government to improve the business and investment climate in Albania.
