Albania establishes Parliamentary commission for NATO integration

TIRANA, Albania - Parliament approved the establishment Thursday (May 31st) of a commission that will handle programmes to implement reforms related to NATO integration. The panel will be composed of ten members and will be co-chaired by Bashkim Fino, of the opposition Socialist Party and Ferdinand Xhaferri, of the ruling Democratic Party. The commission will deal with adapting legislation to international standards and finalising NATO-related reforms, and aims to boost co-operation with other parliaments in the region.
