The border with Croatia has not been defined yet, says the Slovenian Foreign Ministry's announcement released today. The Ministry's reaction came after the statement of the Slovenian ultra-nationalist Zmago Jelinchich claiming that the Ministry "is giving away Slovenian territory" to Croatia and calling the Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel to resign.
"The matter of the fact is that no final borderline between Slovenia and Croatia has been defined. Painstaking negotiations have been led on this issue for years, which recently produced a principle agreement to leave it to an independent arbitrary body or a court to settle this issue", Slovenian Foreign Ministry explains in the announcement.
