Nano-Berisha Are Leading Albania Toward Early Elections, SMI Leader
Meta said Albania would go toward early elections without a new electoral code, without standards and an agreement on the use of birth certificates
TIRANA - Ilir Meta, the leader of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), has called on the party’s membership to prepare for early elections, which, according to him, are becoming inevitable as a result of the crisis caused by two figures of the Albanian political scene, Premier Sali Berisha and former Socialist Premier Fatos Nano.
