Tirana Bank reported today excellent results for the second consecutive year.
During 2006, loans had increased by 61% to EUR 212mn,
however they were lower than the market average of 69%. Meanwhile,deposits had increased to EUR 343mn, or by 23.4% compared to 2005. Profits before tax were reported at EUR 6.5mn.
Tirana Bank is the first private bank in Albania and operates in the country through a network of 36 branch and agencies. It was opened in 1996 and is member of Piraeus Group in Greece.
