Spain deposits Instrument of Ratification of SAA with Albania

Spain deposited the instrument of ratification of SAA with Albania to the General Secretariat of the Council of EU which means that Spain concluded the process of ratification. Minister of Integration, Mrs.Majlinda Bregu, expressed her gratitude for this important undertakings with marks a further step of Albania’s integration to Europe.

Albanian Minister of Integration appreciated the SAA ratification by Lithuania, which shall be notified by the EU Council once it is published in the Official Journal of Lithuania. 8 countries have ratified the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Albania so far: Slovakia, Slovenia, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, Hungary, Spain and Lithuania. Furthermore, the Senate and the Lower Chamber of the Federal Parliament of Belgium have ratified the SAA with Albania and ratification by the regional parliaments is expected.
