TIRANA, Albania - The roof of a building under construction collapsed Wednesday, killing two workers and injuring seven others, police said.
The building of the Hotel and Tourism High School,
on the outskirts of the capital, Tirana, was undergoing renovation when the accident occurred, police spokesman Tefik Sulejmani said.
Rescue workers pulled two men from the rubble _ Isuf Spahiu, 55, and Anton Marku, 18.
Authorities were investigating, and detained for questioning some managers of Theos company, which was in charge of the renovation work.
